Hello there! I’m Jessica, the owner of ‘Corks & Forks Private Catering’. We are a perfect culmination of everything that I am most passionate about. I have traveled around the world to find foods that fuel my fire; Spent more than 20 years working and learning in the hospitality industry; Developed important personal relationships with local businesses in both the Beaches community and in our much-beloved, Haliburton County!
I have an insatiable appetite for delicious, local food, and an unquenchable thirst for delivering unforgettable experiences! Whether you need a gourmet, 5-course meal to impress friends and family you’ve invited into your home or cottage, or just a delectable and romantic dinner for two after the kids are tucked into bed, Corks & Forks is here for you.
What we need from you: Your kitchen!! Depending on what your personalized menu entails, cooking elements like a stove, oven, BBQ etc. would be required, as well as dinnerware, glassware and utensils. We are here to set your table, cook dinner for you, serve dinner to you, and clean up afterwards while you…relax, and enjoy your experience!

What to Expect.
You will know what to expect from us before we show up for your event. We do in-depth consultations in advance, during which we discuss the menu, service expectations, special requests and price quotes. Each meal and experience is unique and created just for you. They will vary based on your particular tastes, preferences, and demands pertaining to preparation, service, and of course, the quality and quantity of food, wine and spirits!

Being a Torontonian is spectacular if you love food! The wealth of diversity in the city makes the food scene, my favourite part about it. Not only can you find literally anything from anywhere, it also makes it easy to support local businesses that can carry even the most unexpected of edible treasures, and cottage country is no different! We live in the Beaches area of the city, and have been cottagers in Haliburton Country for our entire lives, and are proud to support the local businesses, for various home-grown and specialty imported ingredients. We are happy to explore every neighbourhood we visit, so we can spread the love to your favourite places, too!
What Inspires Us.
We are in it for the love of food. It is something as universal as breathing, yet as diverse and unique as every little pocket of our planet. Therefore- travel is required, and devoured!
Our goal is to source our ingredients as locally as possible, starting here and working outward as required to suit your needs. For the sake of authenticity though, French food requires french ingredients, Italian food, Italian ingredients, Thai food- well, you get the picture, and so will your taste buds!
